Mid-Autumn Festival & National Day Holiday Notice
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a uniquely Chinese holiday, which originated in the ancient times, popularized in the Han Dynasty, and stereotyped in the Tang Dynasty. The Chinese calendar is divided into lunar and solar calendars, and the Mid-Autumn Festival is calculated in the lunar calendar as the 15th day of the 8th month of the year, which is also positioned as a legal holiday by the government, and all Chinese citizens have a two-day holiday.
As we all know, October 1, 1949 was the day the People's Republic of China was founded, and the Chinese Government has designated October 1 of each year on the solar calendar as National Day. To commemorate the National Day, all Chinese citizens are entitled to a seven-day legal holiday on October 1st.
Due to the 2023 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day are adjacent to each other, the holidays are cumulative, therefore, our company is on September 29 to October 6 as a legal holiday, October 7 officially on the bar, hereby notified.
